Not every party is created equally. Some boast performances and fancy hors d’oeuvre, while others welcome festive costumes and music. I’d like to establish an entirely new entrant into the party world, one that gamers are sure to appreciate. Companies such as Game Truck Party, Block Party, and Rolling Video Games Of Columbia have truly thought beyond the realms of ordinary entertainment. I introduce to you, the mobile gaming truck.

Also referred to as a video game truck or gaming trailer, the mobile theater is a prime example of innovation and mobility. Each vehicle is outfitted with state-of-the-art monitors, ranging in number from 6 to 10+, custom seating featuring built-in vibration motors, surround sound synched with the on-screen action, and advanced lighting. While each vehicle differs from company to company, most include all major consoles: Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii and boast interconnectivity between all the players. Specific configurations allow for 16 players to participate in the same game at the same time which is an ideal addition for tournaments or team-based game types.

Beyond the confines of the interior, many gaming trailers also utilize the exterior as a potential gaming zone. Often, two more widescreen high-def TVs are affixed to the outside of the truck which allows for the inclusion of larger groups of players as well as room to embrace motion gaming titles such as the popular Just Dance series.

For children or unseasoned gamers, most mobile platforms are “equipped” with a gaming coach to assist in the set up, game rules, and overall functionality making it possible for the whole family to join in on the fun.

Take a look at some screenshots of the trailers below:

Have you ever witness or experienced one of these gaming trailers before, what were your impressions? If not, would you ever rent one for a party or get together?
